Keeping up with India is a newsletter that covers all the latest news and trends in the Indian start-up ecosystem.

Entrepreneurship is by no means new to India, but tech entrepreneurship and start-ups have become an important and rapidly growing part of the economy. Between 2012 and 2019, the number of start-ups in India increased by 17% each year! India is the world’s third largest start-up ecosystem (by number of start-ups), and for the last few years Indian start-ups haver regularly attracted $10B+ in new funding every year.

We started this newsletter because we felt there was no good, curated source of news and commentary on the ecosystem – be it interesting new companies raising funds, emerging trends, and hot sectors, or even problems and set-backs for companies in the ecosystem. This newsletter aims to give readers a broader, and nuanced view of the start-up ecosystem in the country.
